Illustrator value study on a posed self-portrait.

Over 9 hours of intricate Illustrator image tracing with the pencil tool. Individually traced each value change in the image, going off the posterized version of the reference image.

I chose to overlay my self-portrait over a scene of the beach I grew up on. I took a screenshot of a video I had taken the summer before moving to New York, posterized it, and then traced each value.
